Bag of Hope Project is a ministry of Hope Community Church of Anaheim, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Anaheim, California. BHP has recently applied for its own non-profit status with the federal government.
Bag of Hope Project exists to spread hope to the children of low-income and marginalized families in our community by providing them with duffel bags filled with toys, school supplies, toiletries, and other items each Christmas season. These bags are paid for (and, in most cases, filled by) caring individuals and groups who believe the same things we do:
We believe that it is a joy and a privilege to help those in need.
We believe that a core of committed individuals can make a world of difference.
We believe every child deserves to experience the joy and magic of Christmas.
We believe that a single act of kindness can be a defining moment in a person's life.
We hope you share these core beliefs, and that you will join us on this mission to spread hope.
